Southern Arkansas Home Inspection Service is located near Rison, AR. The owner and operator is Mr. Terry Thompson, Arkansas Sate License Number HI1536 who is AHIT Certified and trained. Terry has been in business for over 9 years with over 1000 inspections under his belt.  As member of AAREI (Arkansas Assn. of Real Estate Inspectors) for the last 9 years, Terry also served on the AAREI board in 2013-2014. He also served one year as Educational Chair with AAREI. He is a member of the Pine Bluff Realtors Association and a member of the Southeast Arkansas Realtors Association. 

Southern Arkansas Home Inspection Service provides home inspections over the entire southern half of the State of Arkansas. Terry has a reputation in the real estate world as being very thorough and serving his clients well. He even limits the number of inspections he performs so he can devote total dedication to those clients who retain his services.

Terry believes in continuing education and has logged over 126 additional Continued Education Hours in his career to ensure the most up-to-date information is available for his clients. He also covers foundation inspections for engineer certifications on pre-manufactured homes and performs commercial property inspections. His goal is not only to inspect but to educate the home buyers about their homes safety condition and have them better prepaired for those unexpected repair cost that can creep up when we least expect them to.

From about 1986 till 2007 Terry worked in the home building market in several different aspects. From there he went back to school and learned the Home Inspection Trade, became AHIT certified and obtained his State Inspector License. At this time he has over 11 years of full time Inspection experience and truly enjoys his vocation. At each inspection performed, Terry looks at the property as if he were the investor and reviews the home's functionality and safety aspects very seriously. He has learned that education, not only on the inspector's part, but the client's and Realtor's aspects of what is trying to be accomplish is key to a good working environment for all concerned. He is truly there for the benefit of all involved in the real estate transaction..
